Mera Peak

  • Group Size :
  • Elevation : 6476M
  • Start From : Departs from Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Start on :

Since Mera Peak does not require any prior climbing expertise or technical knowledge, it is the greatest option for beginners to start climbing high mountains. Mera Peak is also the highest hiking peak in Nepal, making it a particularly popular trekking peak. For a good journey, physical and mental health are always crucial considerations.

One of the greatest views of the Himalayas can be seen from the summit of Mera Peak, which offers a 360-degree panorama that includes the 8,000-meter peaks of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu, among many other stunning peaks.

The north side of Mera Peak is reached by climbing through a high-altitude glacier, thus appropriate acclimatization is crucial. Consider taking a different, trickier path from the peak’s south and west faces.
